Café Tortoni

I invite you to explore Buenos Aires by extending Historical Buenos Aires Tour (La Boca, San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo and Recoleta) to different areas of the city: Puerto Madero and its famous “Puente de la Mujer”, first masterpiece of Valencian artist Calatrava in Latinamerica; the emblematical Café Tortoni, where intellectuals and artists used to gather along Twentieth Century; Palermo Woods’ Rose Garden, with more than ten thousand species of plants and its beautiful garden of Poets, with sculptures of famous worldwide known poets. Finally, we will end in the attractive, avant-gardist Palermo Viejo area, old suburb that provided the settings for many of Borges’ short stories and, nowadays, the fashion and gastronomic district.
