OUTSIDE BUENOS AIRES CITY
If you are willing to get out of the city to know “the heart” of our Pampa, I invite you to visit the tradicional town of San Antonio de Areco, (just one hour and a half away from the city) well-known for its quiet streets and beautiful colonial houses but also for being the most important centre of silverwork in the country. We will visit Museo de la Platería Draghi and one or two workshops where the silversmiths will recieve us to show you how they work. Then we will spend the day in a quiet ranch nearby where you will enjoy a tasty “asado” (barcbecue), you will be able to ride on horse or chart, walk freely through the area or just swim in the pool if the weather allows you. In the afternoon, after drinking some “mate” with tradicional “pastelitos” (typical pastry of Argentina) we return to downtown.
